Hacking Democracies -A New way of Looting Power

In the garb of people protest, democracies are being hacked, and the gangrape of  democracies by extremist , over-enthusiast myopic  citizens  and Global Powers with vested interest in and around are live example of this.

Democracy is good and in its idealist form is a laid-down process which allows millions of calm minds to reflect and put in place a machinery of governance to work for common good for a set of humanity bounded in a geography.

The current situation in Bangladesh and the vulnerability of democracies to being "hacked" through manipulation of the people's sentiments is indeed very serious.  It highlights a critical issue: the fragility of democratic processes when the population is swayed by emotional, agenda-driven influences rather than informed, rational discourse.

A Democracy through a healthy network of institutions like Governments Administration, Judiciary, Banks, Police , Army , Heathcare infrastructure, Transportation , School and Colleges to name a few put in places system and procedure through which the main objective of public welfare is realised. The entire set of Institutions established and maintained by sweat and toil of numerous workers are wealth of any nation.

The " Chosen ones"  must take all efforts to keep the sanctity of Institutions intact and create many more to take care of its people and humanity . Such a holy temple like set-ups which work for welfare of humanity and transforming men into great-men, disciplined men and accomplished men must be protected. Protecting institutions and its workings should be matter of utmost responsibility.  Such responsible citizen begets responsible institutions and inturn such responsible institutions  keeps its citizens disciplined and uncorrupted.

The ultimate aim of any democracy or institution of world order  should be should ...must be  to create a more and more civilized society where experience of life is more and more a human and such humanity must grow.

But democracy can work to its best when the unaltered, unhacked mind devoid of agenda-filled euphoria participates in that process in a reflective mode. Each participant in this process are of importance and the entire process is like yajna which is performed in a यज्ञ Yagy.  This should be done in most attentive way.

Democracy thrives on informed, conscious participation, where citizens make decisions based on reason and a collective desire for the common good. However, when the democratic process is undermined by those who turn citizens into a mob, driven by misinformation or emotional fervor, it ceases to function as intended. The analogy of the democratic process as a "yajna" is apt, emphasizing the need for it to be conducted with the utmost sincerity, care, and mindfulness.

The situation in Bangladesh serves as a stark reminder of how easily a democracy can be destabilized when the collective consciousness is compromised. It underscores the importance of maintaining a vigilant and informed electorate, ensuring that the democratic process remains a true reflection of the people's will, rather than a tool manipulated by those with ulterior motive

The recent incident in our neighbourhood of toppling a government chosen by its own people and lynched by its own mob was just a hack away. The hack was simple. The hack was to turn  citizen already blinded by religious extremism into a mob made to believe their errant action as some kind of freedom fight...some kind of purpose...

The mob then went on to loot malls, vandalise Temples and Hindu houses, killings of Hindus and attrocities so heinous that must be condemned by one and all. The accountability of this mob and their instigators will never be fixed as they have handed power to someone who will be obliged for creating the anarchy ,the short-cut to power.

And this development in Bangladesh must attract the attention of the people of all over . If Bangladeshi majority becomes radiclized on the scale of Pakistanis ,then this part of the world would see a very worse form of voilance ...which is akin to demonising humanity. All the peace loving , bhakts of democracy and rule or law must reclaim the idea of Democracy through discourse and dialogue.

It has rightly been quoted  that with great powers comes great responsibility. The objective of entire democratic process or any protest should only be to ensure that more and more responsible people are selected and not anyone who only knows to instigate and destablize systems. Our discourse and focus must be on to find the new way out, best solutions, best environment. Responsibility with decipline must be engrained in our population so that we see new faces with good intent coming to fore.
