As the remaining few minutes of the year 2014 are racing into give way to 2015 , i am feeling nostalgic with the time. Hardly it matters to time. The year 2014 had been quite eventful and added a lot of memories in the chapter of life. The balance sheet of life has seen both the asset and liabilities getting squared. Yeah! Time is the best banker and  accountant. No banker or chartered accountant can ever match its error free accounting procedures. So, as Mr.2014 is all set to leave with his bag packed, we all are awake to bid him good bye and receive Mr.2015 with all zeal , excitement and warmth. May the year brings all excitement, good news, happiness, purpose, health, wealth and enlightment to man kind.

21 Days with special Adjectives

Classroom had become a thing of past! Until the 3 week training schedule at SBA Gurgaon and SBLC were announced. CLASSROOM ah the dreadful area then , now the only reserviour of the sweetest memories speaks of our old sweet days of childhood and flashes the "lost faces of Past". Leaving the nostelgia of past and inertia of working in branches/offices, We - i and Ajoy dropped in at SBA Gurgaon well in time on sunday only to find a grand resort type campus with all modern facilities. We were alloted room no 78 in krishna block. All residential blocks were named after great rivers of our India. It was the begining of an experience, unfelt then. Next morning after breakfast we gathered at auditorium . A video speech of our chairman madam was being played. We all heard her and her concerns on different aspects of making SBI the best bank and her worries on bad customer service. We mere meant to listen but we heard for sure!! We were then asked to disperse after a very touching prayer " itni shakti humein dena data, man ka biswas kamjor hona" It was rejuvenating.

With fresh spirit and new found energy we leaped out to find our class. Ours was taxila. Our co-ordinator was Shri Rajiv Saxena, AGM . He was a man of words. He had excellent command and his own personality was very appeasing. He led us to introduce among ourselves. We all spoke out our names and other credentials. We all were concerned about our turn. We were sparsely concerned in others. Then he led us to another round of intro. It was a different game. He asked us to introduce with our first name but sufficing it with an adjectives starting with the first letter of our name. Example. Radiant Rajive. And set the ball rolling. This was very connecting. We were soon able to recall each others name. It was like honouring the man inside and then connecting with all such selves. IT was not a revealation then. It took the whole 3 weeks of class, activities, role plays, responses,co ordination , cultural activities , games, dining together and ROAMING OUT to know that with each pair of hand i shaken , they were such a different and capable tools of great majicians. With all pairs of legs i strolled with , they had varied pace and stride . They had capacity to put the gaint leap of mankind.  Each face i glanced upon was more than an identity. It was yet another face of God, it was yet another face of a friend.

Republic Day made the Days Re-Public!

Today 26th Jan in India presents before us the reflection of what happened through the citizens living in 1950. They had lost their basic identity. They fought to regain what was lost from their fore-fathers not to the foreigners but much before that to their own illusions. Power with glory conserved and preserved for a few. India had lost its idea of India. Centuries passed. Men came and men went. They never felt the slavery. But nature never knows to maintain status quo. The idea of freedom that was again born but in west revived the memory of Old India. The imagination of freedom and self belief filled the nerves with power to stretch and minds controlled by intellects of responsible leadership  produced by wisdom of pure India led to a successful series of movements ending in emancipation from "the Other". Self was released. But this has to be purposeful. Freedom is meaningful if it can be creative, otherwise it will destruct. Self-rule or Swaraj was the way and always has been. The entire universe has huge power to be chaotic, but it or He self rule to present the platform for lives to exist. I thank to the idea of Swaraj. I thank for giving us the Republic day because the days after that became Re-Public.

Need To Re-define Policing

Crimes in our society..in our environment...in our neighborhood are increasing. The police have tough time managing them. I do not want to comment on the difficulties that our law enforcing agencies face and their failures. Not only we as a system seem to be failing but the entire set up of our human environment seems to have gone polluted by the unworthy actions of "the wisest species of nature". At this point of time we must look out to find what we are and what we need to be. We need to find that why all us suddenly being needing police to handle us. Is this what a grown adult is all about? A lot of thing needs to be done to make us realize the value of being human. But on the aspect of managing our society better i will like to revamp the entire system of policing. Hence I suggest the introduction of "Civil Police" and re-organize the existing police system in Police (law & Order) specialized in taking out exclusively law & order and assault.
Civil Police And Law & Order Police
Role -  Civil police -a system of police which will ensure the security and well-being of a human being without the use of arms but with its legal power ,intelligence and acceptability by promoting among them awareness of laws and good social values. A system of police which will stand with people to befriend them with law and high standards of life. A system of police which will stop a person before he crosses the threshold of crime and turn into a shameful liability for the society and work with its resources to re-elevate  the person to higher standards of life. We must ensure prevention is better than cure. We must understand that every human is an “asset” of the society. Actually civil police will be the first “point of touch” between the state and its people. Its responsibility will be to record all happenings in society on individual basis based on events of importance.

Establishment and system:  A system of civil police may be created at par with normal police system. Such cops armed with intelligence and wisdom along with legal power will be stationed in each mohalla or ward or village. On a sue-motto cognizance of a crime of lesser degree or complaint received from a person from any medium of communication he/she will visit the concerned parties counsel them and try to resolve the issues. In cases of grave crime they will hand over the case to normal police for further investigation but will continue to work with police, accused and victim for quick and sure justice. Not only this “Civil police” will pay a monthly visit to each house and will ask all the members of the family for their well-being. Civil police will encourage public to share their discomforts, information and grievances of all shorts to them and in turn this institution will do its best to address them. Thus civil police will create a database of all individuals and important events of their life.
Benefits:
 1. Our Existing police system which is overloaded can be off-loaded to a large extent and it can better focus on law & order.
2. Human-rights can be looked after in much better ways.
3. A lot of time of our judiciary can be saved if the disputes can be settled outside the court on petty issues.
4. Crimes like property-related crimes and crime against women and children will fall down significantly.
5. Image of police will improve.
6. Public participation in law and order will increase and this will result in stable peace.

Above all we will be able to enrich our society with better acts when there will be no crime.

Ashok Khemka - A mirror for corrupt lobby of Bureaucrats

Ashok Khemka , the appointed doctor to cure chronic corruption was lured in his youth to join IAS to make a difference to the society and the governance, took his learning and dreams literally in his domain of laid down holy duties of governance. But alas! the disease is proving too much deadly to be treated and the doctor seems to be going down fighting it. The mighty demon of "Corruption" has injected its poison and the most qualified and brave is now clueless. No body dares to come for his help. Why should anybody when he has been put to test by his own fellow colleagues-the IASans. Is this community of indias's most talented and intelligent is worth any respect now.

In my childhood i would think that at top people comes from different planet. They are worth following in their footprints. But today when i see around i feel they are not worth a glimpse. The big men at the larger stage of society have disrespected the life to such a  low extent. They look so microscopic. The politicians , the bureaucrats and the most reverend species of India- "the God-Men" now comprises of low-level men ambitious of wealth, power and reputation. All these positions stand compromised because mothers have refused to rear their children with milk of honesty. They are growing lame in character. Is there any polio drop? The victimization of "Khemka"  is a matter of shame for a country which boasts to have given birth to Ram, Krishna, Gautam Buddha, Harishchandra, Mahavir, Guru nanak and Mahatma Ghandhi.

If few men who are on top today think that they are above all, they are grossly mistaken. Thousands of stories lead to the same moral "Righteousness triumphs at last". Why they forget this?

Loot of beliefs!!

Hi friends! Hope you are excellent in health and spirit and wealth! Must have done a lot of shopping in the festivals and planning to do a lot more for the up coming ones. I must narrate a small experience that i underwent this friday(18/10/2013) and may benefit you without any cost.

As this friday is Laxmi Puja in Bengal ,hence it is a holiday. Nothing to do we, I and Moinak (my friend), just went out to check in a newly built Mall (Lake Mall) in Rash Behari. After checking out from a lot of items in Big Bazar, we just bought a few apparels and moved on. We entered "Citi Mart ". As we were browsing through "Shorts" as i had to buy a 3-qtr, my eyes fell on something familiar. O! This is the same 3-qtr i was wearing. Absolutely 100 % match- Size, quality, design, style, logo, brand and colour. But not the PRICE. The 3-qtr i was wearing , i had bought from a nearby shop ,had cost me around Rs. 375/- or so i remember. But here the price tag was Rs. 895/- without any discount!!!!! Amazing!. I do not know what to call it. Be it Citi Mart or Big Bazar or any Brand, the prices are so vulgar.

Prior to this experience, whenever i had visited the malls and shopped i thought i have bought a good quality things as i have footed bills like Rs.1500/- for a shirt or a T-shirt, Rs.1800-2500 for Jeans and Rs.3000-4000/- for shoes. But never known that what we are buying could be obtained in less that half those price only if we care to look around. With the  experience i am feeling unsure. Because the price is obviously not as per cost. It has been inflated. My belief in market is shattered the way few God-men have raped the beliefs of millions of devotes.  Caution! Tread with care! " A rupee saved is a rupee earned"

This is high time that a regulator for consumer market should be set up. A strong, capable watch-dog is needed to save us from our exploitators.  Also,  every price tag must display full breakage of the cost of item and the profit margin! We must demand. " Jago grahak Jago"
